Entrance Canopies & Walkways

Due to the bespoke nature of the canopies, walkways and linkways we manufacture, every installation is designed to suit the building it’s provided for — not a one-size-fits-all product. Below are some recent installations.

How a bespoke canopy comes together
Our designers create bespoke canopy and walkway designs around each customer’s individual site requirements. An Apex Shelters site surveyor can attend site free of charge to measure up the area and provide a full quotation, including groundworks and installation costs if required. On receipt of your order, CAD drawings are supplied for your approval before fabrication begins — all goods are manufactured in-house, and canopies and walkways are installed by our own skilled team.
Where they're used
In workplaces, schools and hospitals, covered walkways give people a dry route between buildings — hospitals in particular often need covered entrance walkways. In schools, canopies provide UV protection in summer and shelter from rain the rest of the year; crash pads can be fitted to the legs for extra safety in playgrounds, and outdoor play has been highlighted by Ofsted as beneficial for young children, so the right cover matters. We can also provide cycle shelters alongside a canopy where a site has a large number of people commuting by bike.
Whatever your specification, we can survey your site, provide a competitive quote including groundwork and installation, and draw up CAD designs for your approval before fabrication.Request a quote to get started.
